Just like with a car rental company, people can log on and search for available vehicles in their area - the only difference is that the car is yours or your neighbors. It’s a bit unsettling for car lovers but don’t worry too much; they provide both insurance and roadside assistance in case something should happen, as well as checking customers’ driving records.

That way, you won’t be renting your car out to some lunatic, and you get to make money off it when you don’t need to use it yourself.

Make money with your car by running errands for others together with TaskRabbit. It’s social, helpful, and you’ll be able to choose the kind of task you feel that you could assist others with. You don’t actually need a car to run these errands, but it’s a lot easier when you have one, and you’ll be able to take on more tasks than if you had to go by public transport. Bill your customers directly through the app and watch how your monthly income increases little by little.
