NEWS - Fiesta range to see limited edition Metal

The new Ford Fiesta has been vastly successful since its launch in 2008. There is now going to be 1000 limited edition 'Metal' Fiesta's made. They are based on the popular 3-door Zetec-S and come with a 1.6 Duratec Ti-VCT engine producing 134PS and dealing with 0-62mph in 8.7 seconds.
The metal gets 17in black alloys, as well as Piano Black painted centre stack bezel, air vent rings and door pulls and Ebony Black leather sports seats with silver contrast stitching. This black is to go with the choice of 3 exterior colours; Panther Black, Midnight Sky and Frozen White.

Also found on the Metal are twin chrome exhaust pipes, silver painted front grille surround, front aerofoil and front fog light bezels. The engine is uprated from the Zetec-S (which only develops 120PS), as is the suspension which is sports tuned and lowered.
As well as the cosmetic changes, the Metal also comes with various systems as standard. These include: Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Home Safe headlights, Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS), Intelligent Protection System (IPS), front, side and knee airbags and anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).
